Michael POV
4 months have passed since Styles and Jake have been training in my arena. their skills in combat with and without weapons in human form have greatly surpassed my most higher ranked warriors that had trained under me. These boys are advanced more now than before. They also learned to fight switching quickly from human form to lycan forms. They had become the most brutal killing machines I have ever trained. I am proud of how much stronger, faster, and more stragistic than they were before.
Now they are training with their minds. This, however, is a challenge for them. This type of training is very tricky.
It consists of illusions, glamours, mind tricks, and clairvoyance. The main goal for them is to reveal all different types to clarify what type of evil entities they are dealing with. Once they figure out what they are, then they can determine what they need to do to get rid of them. It's all in their mind.
They are currently sitting across from one another in the middle of my arena, locked in a trance of my doing. I have been watching how they use their minds to decipher all these different entities' tricks.
The key is also to sense these creatures before approaching them. They are supposed to sense them when they are in the area. So far, Styles is beginning to sense them when he walks by them. He is having trouble making them reveal themselves. Jake can sense them when they are across from him, about 20 feet away, which is good but needs to be better. He is also having difficulty in determining what type they are.
I will have to pull them out soon so I can show them what they are doing wrong. Then, they will have to meditate again before going back in.
"How are they doing?" The goddess asked as she appeared beside me. She was also waiting for them to be finished.
"Almost finished. These guys have picked up fast. This is the first time they are doing this, and I'm surprised I haven't pulled them out yet when they fail." I tell her honestly.
"The matches are ready. I will be making them soon." She tells me as she sighed.
I look at her, and she looks a bit worried.
"Something wrong?" I asked, titling my head at her as my massive wings twitched.
"Ryker already he -" I cut her off and nodded, "She will be fine." I sent some of my power over to my daughter to help her heart.
"Do you think this is right? I mean. I'm usually not wrong in choosing mates. I'm just baffled about how fate just overthrew my pairing."
"Have you taken a look at their pairing before? Make like as if you're the one doing it?" I asked her.
She took in a deep breath and closed her eyes for a moment. Then she opened them and smiled at me, "They are all perfect match."
"Good." I mumbled.
"Okay, send them over to me when you are done. Then I will send them back." The goddess says as she glances at me.
"If one of them finishes, I will send him." I tell her.
"Only one? Will they not wait for one another?" She asked me before she dissappears from my realm.
"They cannot wait for one another. Once they pass them, that arena will know it and will push them out of here automatically and into your realm. Even I don't know when they will pass. I just know it's going to happen soon." I tell her, and she nodded and took a step away from me, I stopped her and said, "Best to leave my daughter out of the loop. She'll learn in time. I will also send a blessing to the three men who stepped up to protect her." She smiled and nodded.
"Thank you, Michael." She says as she dissappears.
I will gift Elliot the ability to shift to any creature he chooses, but it won't last long it has to go with how strong his magic is, I have a feeling he will be needing it in the future. I will gift Weston an angelic sword that only he can wield. It will be passed down from his first born to the next. It will be able to light when evil is near. I will gift Hardin a bow with everlasting invisible arrows that will also glow when evil is near. This, too, shall be passed down to every firstborn he has.
Those gifts will be as thank you gifts from myself for protecting my daughter and grandchildren while her true protectors are with me. I nor the goddess have made anyone protect her they did it out of their own free will and the kindness of their hearts. What better way to gift these men with things that will forever protect themselves and others forever.
Everything is going as it should be, as long as we all do our part. If not, then the supernatural species of earth will disappear rapidly as they kill one another. What will be worse is that humans discover them and decide to kill them all off. Humans have higher technology that can wipe out cities and towns with one weapon. Humans are the ones who play a huge role in making the supernatural species disappear forever.
The only reason they get revealed is when they go to war with one another then the war gets so big, that all species fight and reveal themselves as humans get caught in the middle and see them for the first time.
Turns out that the next generation is dangerous, so we need the majority of the goddess's perfect pairing to work it all out.
It's scary how my daughter was the center of creating the life of the ones who made a dramatic change. But Lena also has her battles later.
First, we take things slowly for now because if we try to rush, something can be pushed off balance, and we can all fail after all our hard work. That is how sensitive this line between fate and failure is at war right now. It can go either way if we get this wrong. For everyone's sake, I hope we don't get this wrong.
