2 months have gone by fast. Ryker was still living in our house, but Lukas moved back into the castle. Which is a good thing, because his second week at the house, he almost kissed me. Ryker is a bit better at keeping his distance when he's so close, but it's Lukas who finds it harder to control it.
It's weird. He says even without the mate bond to tell us we are mates, he still feels protective of me. He is still attracted to me and still in love with me. Same thing for Ryker, but Ryker the way he looks at me sometimes. Makes my core clench because he stares at me like I am his prey. He's going to pounce, but then he smiles at me, and that look is gone.
