GRACIE'S POV 8:05 A.M. "Fifth floor, room 503." The receptionist said, "Thank you." I said and walked towards the elevator. With a bouquet of carnations in one hand and a teddy bear in the other, I hummed a tune as the elevator traveled to the floor. Once I got off, I looked around to see nurses and doctors walking up and down the hallway. I said good morning as I went and finally reached the door. The door was closed and I took in a deep breath before turning the knob and entered. Pressing my lips into a line, I shook my head at how the room was shrouded in darkness. "This is ridiculous."
