“To present you before your fiancé.” Alphonse said, indulging in her astounded reactions.
How her tensed eyes widened in appall, “What? Then why-”
She paused when the unwanted realization of why she was wearing his shirt hit her.
His smirk grew wider when she took a step back, “No, you wouldn’t, Alphonse…” She whispered, holding the hem of the shirt.
“Yes. I am, Aurelia.” His husky resonance echoed in the room, approaching her slowly like a hunter, maintaining the keen eye contact.
“You can’t, I won’t let you.” She hissed, opening the buttons with her one hand and walking back but he grabbed her elbow roughly.
“Don’t make it hard.” He growled, pulling her back to his body, glaring at her to stop her persistence.
“I will tell him everything!” She yelled, not wavering before him. Her gaze flickered with intense hatred but it meant nothing to him.
“Fine. Do whatever you want.” He said, loosening his grip on her arm.
Smirk fading and replaced by an unbearable direness, narrowing his eyes in ire, “But. If your parents won’t come out of this place alive. It would be your fault.”
“What?” She felt frozen, disgusted at his threat to force her to obey his commands under the label of fear.
“And if you dared to reach anyone out for help, might as well prepare yourself for any funeral.” He warned, resting his hand in his pocket, narrowing his eyes in rage.
Her demeanor was testing his non-existent patience and he would do anything to seal her rebellious lips.
“You can’t threaten me like this.” She managed to whisper, her heart sinking into fright, the thought of losing anyone she loves scared her.
“I can do much worse but I am not.” He warned, tone turning dominant, taking a step closer, looking down as if her hopelessness meant nothing.
“And if you forced me to then I won’t hesitate so It would be better for you if you do as I say without questioning.” Sliding his one finger under her chin, forcing her to maintain eye contact of dread.
Sniffling, she nodded, looking away. “Okay…” Hugging her sides, she never felt this powerless in her life, moveover with him.
“Now, smile and take my hand.” He whispered in his superior tone, offering his hand.
Swallowing hard, she took his hand, lowering her gaze, accepting her defeat and doing as he ordered.
“Good. See now you are learning.” He said, pleased at her subjugation, pulling her closer enough to brush his body against hers.
With a hitched breath, she moved back instinctively, not raising her lost gems and they walked out of the room with her heart overflowing with embarrassment.
She couldn’t look up, only walking with him, mentally preparing herself for the upcoming mayhem.
“Sir.” Dennis came after a while as well.
“Hmm?” Alphonse hummed, walking with his dominance spreading everywhere.
“I.. have carried out your orders.” He said vaguely, glancing at Aurelia before affixing his eyes on the ground.
“Good. Let them rest in their room, I don’t want my in-laws to complain about my hospitality.” He ordered, looking at Aurelia who remained unaffected.
“Yes, Sir.” Dennis nodded and left.
“See? There will be no harm to anyone as long as you subjugate.” Closing her eyes, Aurelia took a deep breath to not cause trouble and lose her parents by the hands of this devil.
“I.. Understand…” She breathed out, dying to assault him for ravaging her life but he had captured her sensitive nerves.
“No, you don’t but I expect you will in the future.” He replied coldly, forcing her to match her steps with his.
“Can.. I see them?” She asked, lowering her gaze sadly, biting her bottom lip.
“Not yet. You show me your performance before your lover and I will make my decision based upon that.” He said, stopping in his tracks, turning to her.
“You might or might never.” He began to speak in a low tempting tone, leaning down to her ears.
“Really depends on you.” He whispered, noticing the rush of fright in her eyes.
“Alphonse, please.” She whispered, averting her gaze, trying to move back to resist his hot breath lingering on her neck.
“Be careful with your choice of words, Love.” He spoke in a low, grave tone to embed the fact that consequences depend on her course of actions.
“Now, come.” He scoffed as they walked down the long hallway leading to the main hall where Elliot was standing alone.
Still in his wedding dress but with no coat, toughly rolled sleeves and messy hairs, distress gleaming on his face for his missing bride.
“Aurelia?” He asked when his eyes fell upon her, rushing to her side, losing his breaths.
“Elliot? W-What are you.. Doing here?” Aurelia faked a gasp, moving closer to Alphonse, trembling in anticipation of his reaction.
I am so sorry. She thought saly, lowering her gaze.
“Me? What are you doing here?” He asked, taking a step closer, extremely tensed about her wellbeing.
“Are you okay? He didn’t hurt you, did he? Are you-”He was about to ask hastily but she cut him off.
“I am fine.” She whispered, forcing out a trembling smile.
“Are you sure? I was so worried about you. You-” He paused when his eyes traveled to her hand, her fingers intertwined with his with made his heart clench.
“Why are you holding his hand?” He asked, glaring at Alphonse who stood unaffected, wallowing in her immaculate acting.
“Elliot… I..” She swallowed hard, pressing herself timidly towards Alphonse.
“Aurelia?” He asked, worried about her reaction.
“What have you done?” Elliot growled, glaring at Alphonse to speak up.
“Ask her. I barely doubt you will trust my words.” He shrugged, turning his head to Aurelia who couldn’t lift her eyes from shame.
“You-” Elliot was about to lose his mind in wrath but Aurelia stopped him.
“Elliot. Alphonse came… when I was in the dressing room.” She began to say, forcing the lump in her throat to suppress the sob and urge to tell him everything.
“What? How did he manage to?” Elliot asked in disbelief, they had top-notch security and yet he came was truly astonishing for him.
“I have my ways.” He shrugged, knowing he has connections with higher up and invading a wedding was no big deal.
Moreover his permission to go wild.
“And.. proposed.. To me.” Aurelia breathed out, tightening her grip on Alphonse's hands, fearing his response, releasing shallow breaths.
“What!? Were you out of your mind?! Can’t see she was dressed as my bride.” He yelled, not speaking a word to Aurelia but to Alphonse.
“Exactly. She was.” He shrugged, maintaining his calm and posture.
“What?” He blinked in bewilderment, turning to Aurelia who smiled with tears in her eyes.
“You know it, Elliot.. How much he meant to me.. Even if it was two weeks but he.. Treated me like a Queen..” She said in a croaked voice, wrapping her free hand around his arm.
“But that doesn’t mean you will forget our love, Aurelia.” He whispered softly, trying to make her understand but she wiped her tears and continued to smile.
“Say something, Aurelia, you can’t do this to me.” He said, coming closer to touch her but she flinched and moved back, refraining from him.
“Why are you doing this?” He asked desperately, holding his chest, tears coming to his eyes.
“I am sorry.” She whispered, turning her head away in shame but bit her cheek.
“You cannot disregard our love, Aurelia.” He said, bringing his hand closer to touch her but she slapped his head away, staring dead into his eyes.
“I am sorry but I did, Elliot.”
