“Mother! Grandma J!”
I grinned widely as I walked further into the room. Grandma J and Mother were having a discussion when I stepped in.
“How are you both doing?” I asked
“We're basking in good health, thanks to our miracle doctor” Grandma J replied with a giggle. She must have heard the news as well, miracle doctor indeed.
“How are you?” Mother asked me with concerned looks,
“I am fine, Mother. I feel refreshed and also happy that you both are fine and well,”
“Sure. We were treated by the best doctors in the world. You and your father,” Grandma J replied.
“Only my daughter treated us, her father had nothing to do with it,” Mother quickly took away the credit from father as if she was conscious when it happened.
