Father was sprawled on the bed when I ventured into the room and my eyes watered immediately. He looked so pale and so fragile. He was already a weak wolf due to age, how could Ebony do something so wicked and heartless. I hope the moon goddess punishes her after I am done with her here.
“Hey dad” I perched on the space beside him, “how do you feel now?”
“I am glad you are fine” his lips stretched into a thin smile.
“Luna” the new pack healer bowed lightly, “we have been able to rid your father of the wolfsbane but he is still very weak. I will make some concoction for him, he should be fine after a few weeks”
“How long?”
“Maybe a month” she said, “his wolf was badly affected, it will take some time before he is fine now”
“Thank you” I said to her.
She bowed again and
