God, Elisabeth. I hate her with every fiber of my being. She was my real-life nemesis. Not imaginary, but real-life. From the time we were kids, she was the yardstick I was always measured against. Her perfect grades, her flawless smile, her perfectly curated life. And me? I was the messy, imperfect version.
