Adjusting to the new matchbox-like office wasn’t easy at all, but the hardest part was the fact that the tiny office wasn’t just for Elijah but for me too. Yup, I had to spend the whole working hours in the tiny room while sitting in front of Elijah and work. Though Elijah isn’t the kind of boss who makes his female employees uncomfortable, still, it feels uncomfortable.
Normally, I could yawn, stretch, eat snacks after a quick scan and confirming that no one is watching, but now that my desk is right in front of Elijah’s, in the same room with just a three-foot distance, I can’t even think about the thought of dozing off or even yawn.
It has just been a week, and I am 99 percent positive that half of my salary is gonna get spent on my physiotherapy.
