Mia didn’t move at first.
She just stared at the door.
Heart racing.
Breath shallow.
That pull—
It wasn’t subtle anymore.
It was right there.
Close.
Focused.
Him.
Her fingers tightened in the sheets.
This is insane.
And yet—
She was already moving.
The floor felt cool beneath her feet as she stood, the fabric slipping slightly as she wrapped it tighter around herself. Every step toward the door felt heavier than it should have.
Not fear.
Anticipation.
Something deeper.
Something that made her pulse quicken for reasons she didn’t understand.
She stopped just inches from the handle.
For a second—
She hesitated.
Then—
She opened it.
VICTOR:
Victor didn’t expect her to open the door.
Not that quickly.
Not at all.
And yet—
There she was.
Standing in the doorway.
Wrapped in nothing but a sheet, her hair loose and slightly damp, her skin still carrying that faint, impossible glow he hadn’t seen before.
His breath caught.
Just slightly.
But enough.
The connection snapped tight.
Immediate.
Unavoidable.
Stronger than before.
Stronger than anything he’d ever felt.
Mia’s hand tightened on the door.
“…You felt it too,” she said quietly.
Not a question.
Victor held her gaze.
Measured.
Controlled.
But beneath that—
Something else.
“Yes.”
The word came out lower than he intended.
Her chest rose and fell slowly.
The air between them—
Shifted.
Like it was reacting to both of them now.
Mia swallowed.
“What was that?” she asked.
Victor didn’t answer right away.
Because he didn’t have one.
Not a complete one.
But he had enough.
“…You opened something,” he said finally.
Mia frowned slightly. “I didn’t mean to.”
“I know.”
That didn’t make it better.
Her eyes searched his face. “You were there.”
A beat.
“In my head,” she clarified.
Victor’s expression didn’t change.
But something behind his eyes—
Did.
“…Not like you think,” he said.
Mia’s brows pulled together. “Then how?”
Victor stepped forward.
Not into her space.
But closer.
Enough that the pull between them tightened again, pressing against both of them like something alive.
“I felt it,” he said. “Every second.”
Her breath hitched.
“You felt what I saw?”
“Yes.”
Silence.
Heavy.
Charged.
Mia shook her head slightly. “That doesn’t make any sense.”
“No,” Victor agreed. “It doesn’t.”
And yet—
It was happening.
MIA:
Mia became suddenly aware of how close they were.
How little space there was between them.
How the air itself seemed to thicken, reacting to their proximity.
Her skin tingled faintly.
That heat—
Still there.
Still waiting.
Victor’s gaze dropped—just for a second.
Taking her in.
Not in a way that felt careless.
Or casual.
But focused.
Intent.
Like he was trying to understand something—
And she was the only answer.
Mia’s breath caught again.
“Stop looking at me like that,” she muttered.
“Like what?”
“Like I’m a problem you’re trying to solve.”
Victor’s lips twitched slightly.
“You are a problem.”
Mia blinked. “Wow.”
“Not in the way you think.”
“That’s not reassuring.”
“It’s not meant to be.”
A beat.
Then—
“…Come in,” she said quietly.
The words surprised even her.
Victor didn’t hesitate.
He stepped inside.
VICTOR:
Victor moved a step further into the room.
Slow.
Deliberate.
His attention never leaving her.
“You’re changing,” he said.
Mia’s chest tightened.
“I figured that out.”
“Faster than you should be.”
Her eyes narrowed slightly. “And you know that how?”
Victor hesitated.
Just for a second.
Then—
He moved slowly, pushing her back against the door,
“Because I’ve never felt anything like you before.”
The words landed heavier than expected.
Mia looked away briefly, her thoughts spinning.
“That thing,” she said quietly. “In… wherever that was—it said something.”
Victor’s focus sharpened instantly. “What?”
Mia swallowed.
“…That I’m not separate.”
Silence.
“And?” he pressed.
Her voice dropped even lower.
“That I’m what remains.”
Victor went completely still.
The room seemed to tighten around them.
Because that—
That wasn’t just strange.
That was—
Dangerous.
Victor’s mind was racing,
Blood pounding.
..."What kind of danger am I getting myself into now, why is this so right?... The craving, I need to taste her.." he thought to himself.
Before he could think twice, He slid his hand slowly down her arm, pulling her fingers to his lips.
NIP, he bite and then he sucks her fingers into his mouth with a small wet moan.
MIA:
Mias mind is running in circles, her heart is pounding,
" What am I doing, why did I open the door and invite him in... ughhh. I'm in so much trouble." She thinks to herself.
Just as those thoughts form his body is pushing hers against the door, his hand tracing and pulling her arm towards him.
Victor’s eyes are glowing such a vibrate blue, Mia can hear his blood pulsing higher and higher.
Suddenly, Victor’s biting and sucking her fingers past those amazingly soft lips of his.
Mia can't hold back the moans, the pleasure erupts deep in her core.
