I stood still, not taking another step. Reina was leaning against the wall. In a protective stance against me, wait, why was it against me?
I swallowed, gazing around just to make sure that I wasn't thinking wrong, but that was what was happening.
“Reina….it is me. Richard, I mean, your Richard, “ I tried to ascertain if it was just a pretense or something was wrong.
