Looking at Liam, Ashley felt a fresh bout of hatred. Why did she have to live in hiding, killing her identity while he was living a guilt-free life? She can’t let it continue for too long. She would have to think of a way to go to New York and seek justice for herself and her family, for she can’t get him to go scot-free after how he had killed Cynthia, her innocence, her trust, and ruined her family. She forgot her surroundings and was transported back to her sorrowful past, with Liam hurling insults at her. She fisted her hands, thinking about all the pain that she had gone through because of him. Her nails dug into her palms, but she did not feel this pain as compared to what she had gone through; this pain was nothing but trivial. The loud music playing brought her out of her past.
