Ashley knew that Liam’s bodyguards were following her and gladly led them to her rented house. After locking up the door, she freshened up. Just as she came out of the bath, she heard her phone ringing. It was Jerry. “Do you know that there are two gorillas standing guard outside your door?” He said without preamble.
“ Really? They were quite human when I led them here.”
“What do you mean you led them here? Who are they?”
“Liam’s bodyguards.”
“Liam’s what?” He said, almost shouting at her. “You shifted there yesterday, and already his bodyguards are after you. How and when did it happen?”
“You would not believe what happened this morning, Jerry. One minute I was buying my coffee, and the next moment when I lifted my eyes, he was standing there. Right in front of my eyes.”
