Marisol's POV:
Once Zeke walked away, River sighed and then motioned me over to him. I wanted to refuse, but I saw that the attention in the room was shifting my way. I hurried to his side and hid behind his bigger frame. He chuckled softly at that.
"You'll have to show your face, you know." I scrunched my nose up and he smirked lightly. "Listen up!" He called to the room as he looked up again. The room fell quiet in an instant and I slid behind him further. "Several of you are aware of a change in my mate's scent. I am happy to announce that she has awakened as a wolf and has even shifted for the first time." I looked around, and I saw Zeke's utter shock. He glared harshly at me and then stomped to the back of the room.
