Piper’s mother pulled a photo frame from under the blanket from her lap. “Piper is an artist. Did you know that? She sings, paints, and anything artistry, she does. She was always creative and tried new things. Most days, I couldn’t keep up with all her new projects. I’m not sure where she got her drawing skills, though. I can barely draw a stick figure.”
“Yeah, I noticed she does a lot.”
“She’s always been a busy bee. Anyway, she made this for you before she went to work for you, but left it at home. I thought you should have it. She drew the artwork of you on her computer.
Ford took the frame from the frail woman in awe. “She made this?”
