In the next few weeks, after things calmed down with Ford, Piper settled into her new life. Calling her mom each night to sing her to sleep was the most peaceful part of her day. Most of her time was spent taking care of his appointments and tending to things at home. Life for him had gotten a little out of hand with the broken arm, and it was clear he was overwhelmed with all the duties at home and work. Piper also helped Ford from her new office at Dangerous Games headquarters on days he was in town. Doing paperwork, getting coffee, and basic remedial jobs to help his day-to-day go a little easier.
