I didn't think that he would actually do it. But here we were—running. Questions clawed through my mind. Relentless. Loud. Each question fought for an answer that I knew I could not get just yet. Werewolves could hear from miles away and even though it was the dead of the night I did not exactly know who or what could be hiding in the hallways. I followed Lewison closely, always making sure that the distance between us was never too much or too little.
