My tour of the pack was cut short after Iris’s slip-up. Lewison took me up to my room in a silent trek where I was for once, not even bothered to speak. My mind refused to leave Iris’s words and the random guards stationed at almost every point made speaking impossible. Even when Lewison locked me in my room again, I didn't utter a word. All I could think about was when next I would see Iris. I was sure I could get more out of her if we just had a short time alone together. And anytime I saw my doorknob turn, I swear my heart leapt.
