Third POV
Sophia entered Bryan's office. After making her way to the desk, she observed Bryan working with a large number of files.
Bryan lifted his head and asked,
"Why are you late? I was asking other employees about you."
Sophia was stunned. She recalled those women's conversations and lowered her head.
"I had an extra class today. So I came here after attending it."
Although Sophia made an effort to place the cup on the desk, she was unable to do so since there were so many files on the desk.
"I want you to set up all the files and work on a few of them." Bryan said as he stood up from his seat.
‘Was this the reason he was asking for me from other people?’ Sophia thought to herself as she gazed at him.
