Upon hearing Troy's words, Sophia was taken aback. She averted her gaze from him and shook her head in disappointment. "This is not the case; you are misunderstanding. Nothing is like that."
An expression of bewilderment could be seen on Troy's face, which she was able to notice.
Nevertheless, she was not in a state of mind that would allow her to say anything further. Her condition was not good enough for her to explain anything to him.
She turned around and began to walk toward the entrance door. The receptionist smiled at her, but all she could do was nod in response to the smile.
