Sophia scoffed at Bryan and replied,
"No. You can't ask, Alpha Bryan."
Bryan's eyes grew darker as he stared at her. Except for Abraham, all the officials looked at Bryan, perplexed as to why he was not taking any action against her.
Abraham rushed up to Sophia and grabbed her arm, doing his best to seize the last opportunity.
"Sophia, you can't talk to Alpha like that. And what are you doing here? You should be at your university at this time."
Sophia moved her eyes from the dark orbs and looked at her brother. She removed his hand from her arm and replied,
"Brother, please. I am not a kid who needs to keep you and mom updated wherever I go."
Beta Robert approached her and said,
"We suspect you assisted Alpha Oliver in winning the project."
