Chapter Seventy-Four: Poker

1999 Words

Jameson’s POV The virtual meeting had been dragging on for what felt like forever when one of the executives suddenly brought up poker as an analogy for business strategy. “It’s all about calculated risks,” the man said. “Like poker, you don’t always have the best hand, but you play in a way that makes others think you do. Business is the same—you don’t show all your cards at once, you make bold moves, and sometimes, you even bluff to get what you want.” I leaned back slightly, tapping my fingers against the desk. The analogy was… interesting. It wasn’t something I had thought much about before, but it made sense. The meeting eventually wrapped up, but even after logging out, my fingers hovered over the keyboard. Without much thought, I opened a new tab and typed in how to play poker.
