Aria’s POV
“What happened?” His voice was soft, laced with concern. I shifted away from him, needing space to clear my thoughts.
His presence was overwhelming, and the warmth of his embrace still lingered on my skin, making it hard to think straight. I walked to the bed and sat down gathering the courage to speak.
“I… I’ve started studying medicine,” I told him. His brows lifted in surprise before his lips curved into a smile.
“Really? Medicine?” He crouched in front of me, his expression filled with admiration. “Damn, Aria. That’s amazing. I’m so proud of you. Finally you got what you wanted. When did you get enrolled?”
“Three months ago.” I answered, my hands gripping the edge of the bed while he let out a low whistle.
