After a few minutes, Trayton’s sobs began to quiet. They softened into small whimpers as he forced himself to breathe. Slowly, he looked up at Crystal and Lyra. Taking a deep breath, he spoke. “What am I supposed to do now?” Crystal met his gaze, her eyes steady and encouraging. “Now that you have your wolf, it is no longer safe for you here,” she said gently. “I think it is time for you to reunite with your family. Don’t you?” Trayton hesitated for only a moment. “Yes,” he said, a faint smile forming on his lips. “I think it’s high time I meet my family.” Crystal nodded. “Good. This is what we’re going to do.
