Matthew’s point of view.

I walked into the party and looked around and my wolf James was going nuts spinning around in my head and howling.

James what is going on I asked him.

I feel it I feel were going to find our mate tonight

Are you serious tonight

Yes I am serious we will find her tonight shes is here somewhere.

James severed the link and retreated to the back of my mind. I cannot believe what James just told me. I was lost in thought when I looked up and saw her the betas daughter. My breath caught in my throat as she was standing there with My uncle and aunt. She was absolutely breath taking and she had filled out more since the last time I saw her. I instantly got a hard on as she kept swaying her hips walking toward other guests. “Matthew are you alright?” my mother asked “Yes, mom I’m alright” I lied.

We mingled amongst the guests and soon it was time to go meet the birthday girl and I was a little more than excited I would say. She walked up to me and in the voice that was a smooth as honey she said to me “Prince Matthew, thank you so much for coming to my party it was very nice of you to come.” I looked at her in awe and soon replied to her. “The pleasure is all mine, it’s not every day you turn 18 and get your wolf for the first time.” She just smiled and me and bowed showing me more of her cleavage and I wanted to take her right then and there. She stood up and I could see her blushing and oh my goddess was she beautiful and I prayed hard that she was going to be my mate.

It was soon about to be midnight and we all decided it was soon time for the twins to go to their respected spaces so they could first meet their wolves before they would turn for the first time.

Owen went to a small room just outside of the ball room and Lirella went to the opposite room of him.

Ding ding ding ding went the alarms saying it was not midnight

Lirellas point of view

It was now midnight, and I held my breath and soon I heard a sweet voice inside my head.

Desiree and I talked for the next forty-five minutes and soon it was time to meet up with Owen and make our way to the forest to shift for the first time. I walked out the door and saw Owen and ran over to him to ask him about his wolf. “Owen, what is your wolfs name?” I asked him excitedly. “His name is Chance, and he sounds like a warrior, I guess all that training is going to pay off.” He spoke “That is amazing Owen I am so happy for you.” “What is your wolfs name Lirella?” he asked me. “Her name is Desiree and she said that she was a special wolf I’m not sure what she meant by that.” I said to Owen. “That name seems so familiar to me.” Owen spoke in almost a whisper. “Wait you have heard of this name before Owen?” I asked him. “Yes, I have I’m just not sure where, I am pretty sure I read it in a history book or something like that.” He replied. “Well, we don’t have time to search right now, because it’s time to go to the forest.” I answered him. We walked hand in hand to the ball room to see everyone eager and ready to get the show on the road. Soon as I entered the room, I got this smell of blueberries and vanilla, and it was the sweetest smell I have ever smelled in my life my wolf was going crazy in my mind dancing and twirling and shouting MATE. I followed the scent it led me to where my parents were talking to the alpha and the king and queen and prince Matthew. Prince Matthew and I locked eyes and my wolf went nuts screaming mate mate mate. I slowly walked up to him, and he walked toward me we met in the middle and at the same time we yelled “mate”

Everyone in the room was quiet too stunned to speak. The queen came over first and looked at us and then spoke “Matthew are you sure this is your mate?” “Yes, mom she’s my mate” I heard Matthew reply. We could not keep our eyes off each other, and I saw his eyes turn black with lust. My dad was there next and told us to follow him and we did. We all went into the alphas office and sat down me next to Matthew on the little couch. The queen and King on the bigger couch my dad next to them my mom sat on the arm of the couch next to dad and Owen sat in a chair in the corner and the alpha at his desk.

The king spoke first “Well this is a pleasant surprise to say the least.” He then chuckled. “Lirella are you sure this is your mate?” my mother asked me “Yes.” I replied while keeping my eyes on Matthew. I than heard king Darius speak up. “Matthew, I cannot tell you how happy I am that you have found your mate your mother and I are so happy for you.” “Yes, we could not be more thrilled we have known Lirella since she was little, and we know she will make a wonderful queen and Luna.” The queen said softly. “Lirella, welcome to the family.” King Darius said while laughing once again.

The alpha than went around his desk and walked up to us and he spoke to us telling us that he was glad we found each other but that I needed to still shift for the first time. “He’s right dearest you still need to go shift.” Matthew replied while staring at me. “You are right babe let’s get this show on the road.” I giggled at him. We then got up of the couch and headed for the door but before I could turn the knob he whispers in my ear “later tonight after you shift, and everyone goes to bed I am going to ravish you.” I felt my face turn bright red and I could feel wetness between my legs which made him growl. I opened the door and we all proceeded to go to the ballroom where everyone was waiting.

“So sorry everyone it would seem that Prince Matthew has finally found his Queen may I introduce to you princess Lirella Grace Banks” The alpha roared and soon there was clapping and cheering through the whole room. “And now the moment we’ve all been waiting for it time to get this show on the road, Owen and Lirella are you ready my dears?” “Yes.” We both replied

Soon we were outside in the forest, and it was finally time Owen went first.

Chance: are you ready Owen it’s going to hurt like hell the first time we shift but you have warrior blood and I’m sure you will do just fine

Owen: yes, I am ready just tell me what to do

Chance: imagine a wolf imagine yourself as a wolf and let me take control

Just like that Owen imagined himself being a wolf and chance took over soon you could hear bones cracking and screaming coming from Owen as his body shifted and changed into his wolf and soon there stood a. massive red and amber wolf. It shook his head and some of the pack was even scared of it. It was even bigger than the alphas. This was unheard of in most packs. Everyone looked in awe and wonder at this beautiful wolf.

I walked up to it and gave him a big squeeze and rubbed his head which was a bit taller than me, so I had to reach up. Chance bent down so I could pet him better and soon he was just puppy mush in my hands. “who’s a big, good boy?” I said happily while rubbing his tummy. “You are chance yes you are.” Everyone just watched and soon learned he was just one giant puppy.

“Lirella it is your turn.” My father said to me

I took a deep breath walked away from chance calmed myself down and spoke to Desiree.

Lirella: Desiree, how do I do this

Desiree: Just imagine yourself as a wolf and let me take control.

Lirella: okay you got it.

Soon I was imagining me being a wolf and Desiree took over and my bones started to bend break and shift into my wolf. I screamed out in pain and soon the pain was replaced with pleasure as I finally shifted into my wolf for the first time. I opened my eyes, and all my senses were going hay wire.

I looked down at my paw and saw that it was glowing and that I was glowing. I was golden with piercing blue eyes, and I was glowing. I could not believe it I knew she said I would be special but not this special. I looked up to the crowd and gave a huge howl that echoed deep into the forest.

Everyone else shifted into their wolves soon as I howled and soon, they were all bowing even the King, Queen, and the prince

Matthew’s point of view:

I watched as she turned into her wolf, and it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. Her wolf was glowing and was gold. My wolf James was going nuts, and I knew he wanted to shift, but it was as if he was waiting for the right moment and soon this beautiful goddess of a wolf let out this amazing howl and I knew I just knew right then was the right time for me to shift. So, I let James take over. Soon as I shifted, I immediately bowed and then I realized that I felt different I looked at my paws and saw it I was glowing. I was glowing just like Lirealla’s wolf. What in the world was going on? Again, I heard Lirella’s wolf howl and without hesitation I howled with her just her and me. James what is going on? I asked my wolf. I do not know Matt, but I feel as if we have a greater destiny than what we originally thought. I believe that our mate is none other than the golden wolf the daughter of the moon goddess herself. He replied. So, wait your telling me that the legend is true? Yes, but the golden wolf has not been seen in over a millennium which means something is headed our way and it is not going to be good. My wolf replied

I could not believe it my mate was the golden wolf but that didn’t explain why I was glowing too. Lost in my thoughts my mate gave another howl and started to run off into the forest. And without hesitation we all followed her.

Lirellas point of view:

I saw matts wolf was glowing too and I was so curious as to what was going on that I asked Desiree what indeed was going on.

Me: Desiree, what is going on why is James glowing too?

Desiree: I believe it’s because you are the golden wolf and the moon goddess herself chose James /matt to be your protector your guardian

ME: wait the golden wolf you mean to tell me all those bedtime stories was true I am the golden wolf the reincarnation of the moon goddess’s daughter.

Desiree: It would appear that way, Lirella.

I severed the link between Desiree and I and instantly I knew what I needed to do so I let out a huge howl and let Desiree take the lead and she leapt into the forest and started to run. Not long after the whole pack followed suit. We were running and leaping over branches and stones, and everyone had a hard time keeping up with Desiree, so she slowed down soon James was right next to her running and it seemed like it was the perfect thing to do. Soon as he caught up to her their glowing increased and soon let out a huge light that filled the night sky. After the run the pack went back to the pack house and all shifted quickly putting on the clothes, they had kept near the pack house for this very event.

I stood up naked and walked over to matt who was also naked, and I looked him up and down and oh my Goddess he was sexy as hell with his six pack abs full muscular arms he was just mm and I wanted to eat every morsel of him. But now was not the time I had so

many questions and I needed answers. I quickly got dressed and walked over to my mom and dad and the look they gave me I just knew that they were hiding something from me.

Matts pov

We reached the pack house in no time at all, and everyone shifted into back into their human forms and started to get dressed except for me and Lirella. I watched her with lustful eyes as she swayed her hips. She looked like an absolute goddess an Aphrodite. I wanted to ravish her right then and there, however I knew that we both needed answers as to what was going on. She soon got dressed and so did I. She walked over to me with lustful yet curious look in her eyes.

“I’m not sure what is going on? Or what happened Prince Matthew.” She said looking at me with tears in her eyes. “Hey, it’s going to be okay. Let’s go look for your parents and mine and see if they have any answers and I promise you I will not leave you I hoped and prayed to the moon goddess that you would be my mate and she heard my prayers. So, whatever this is or whatever we are I’m not going to leave you.” I replied while looking deep into her eyes. She slowly dried up her tears and we went to go find our parents in the large crowd.

Lirellas point of view

I saw as Prince Matthew approached me and not knowing what to say to him about this whole matter I started to cry, and I told him that I didn’t know what was going on or why it was happening. He then proceeded to hug me and to let me know that everything would be alright, and I just melted into his arms and the electricity from our touch was nothing like I had experienced before. I Soon stopped crying and we both started to walk to find my parents in the large crowd that by now was all fully dressed and staring at us. Some were staring in fear and others in awe. I looked down at my feet as the stares were making myself nervous.
