After the attack last night, everyone had been on high alert. It's not often Elliot becomes this angry, but I suspect there is more to the attack than it just being passing rogues.
Everyone had heard about the commotion at the gate and that Elliot had taken down both of the men rather than it being a matter of the warriors taking care of things as usual. It made me think about what else we should expect, and I was expecting to receive a mindlink about training and border controls, but not the mind link I was about to receive.
"Frank, I need you to do something for me," I heard as Alpha Elliot's voice powered through my head.
He had my full attention, and I didn't waste any time replying to him.
