chapter twelve

i felt the sun on my face and hear birds twirping. i turned around towards julian

he wasent there. i got up and looked around. there was a note in the bed. i unfolded it.

dear mandy,

iv got business with my father. ill be there when its time for the ball.

love julian

i hered a knock on my door. as soon as i was about to get out of bed. a loud squeel smacks me back. i looked down there was lizz. i started to do my owen squeeling. we jumped up.and down when i get off the bed.

"you ready to party tonight?, she asked while wiggling her eye brows. i laughed. and nodded yes.

a maid came in then and told us to follow her. down the hall we entered a room fit for doing make up and hair. there where products everywhere set up. our dresses hanging up. i was nervous. but then music starts to play. heck yeah.

me and lizz high five each other. bring this make up thing on.

i took a shower first and did lots of shaving. when i was done i put lotion on my skin. then put a rob on. it took an hour just to get my hair right. well it was long and thick and dirty blonde. plus it was down the middle of my back.

they put jabe my hair down and the other have up in braids. they even put blue flowers in. God i loved it.

then came make up. i told them i wanted natural. so they played it up. i looked when done. i looked great. i went got my dress on.

the music stopped when lizz was done.

lizz glowed beautifully. she had a green dress that flowed down to the floor. her back was showing. her hair was all the way up into braids. she had beautiful smokey eyes. she wore earring to.

we both looked at each other and smiled. yes where going to rock at this ball.

i had one of the maids take a pic of me and lizz. it was just perfect.

we hered knocks on the door we opened it up. there stood julian and lizz date. they both had smiles on there faces. me and lizz giggled. we took there arm and went to the elevatore. we went to the first floor. we got out and turn down a hall where the ball is held. big golden doors opened whyed.

me and julian where the first ones to inter. everyone in the room went quiet. the men bowed down and the ladies curtised.

i held on to julian tight as we reached the chairs for royals.

as we sat down. julian took my hand and kissed it. i blushed as i smiled.

people started dancing and drinking. there was finger food being served. i tried a little bit of wine. the music was slow and to be honest a little boring.

i seen lizz talking to people. i want to dance. i looked at julian.

i whispered."can we dance"

he looked at me and smiled. he took his hand in mine. we got up and headed to the dance floor. people moved. well here it goes.
