I could tell something was wrong the moment I opened my eyes and no, it wasn't as a result of the voice recordings from the burner phone I'd found. For several seconds, I simply laid there staring up at the gray sky above me, trying to understand why my entire body was hurting. I blinked slowly as confusion took over, then suddenly, a sharp pain hit me. I wasn't in my room. I shot upright so fast that dizziness nearly knocked me back down. My heart slammed against my ribs. "What the hell..." I was in the middle of a forest, I wasn't even near the estate or the training grounds. I was in a forest, the kind that stretched endlessly into every direction. I looked around frantically. How the hell had i gotten here?! Tall trees surrounded me with thick undergrowth and fallen branches.
