Everything got worse and that was the reason why I was sitting in the medical room for the fifth time in one week. At first, I tried convincing myself it was stress, trauma or maybe just the adrenaline from the attacks. But by the third day, it became impossible to deny. At every moment of the day, I was always hearing things I wasn't supposed to hear. I heard the sound of two guards making out in the wing at the far end of mine, random heartbeats belonging to various people, footsteps from across entire hallways and even conversations that was happening behind closed doors.
