FIRST DAY OF WORK

EPISODE 2

. Emerald's POV

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr, ughhhh this f*****g alarm is at it again , I stretched my hands and turned it off the time was still 6:00 and I really felt sleepy but I have to get up and prepare for the day . Today is Monday and officially my first day at work so I can't be late no matter what . I rushed and took my bathe and got dress in a white shirt , black skirt, black blazers and a flat shoe . I'm so hungryyyy but I can't eat breakfast if I want to be able to eat lunch today , but I think there is a cafeteria with free lunch in the office ,I'm not a hundred percent sure of it so I can't take chances . The time is already 6:30 so I have to rush so that I can meet up with the early morning bus.

Good morning Mrs rose , "ooh good morning dear you arrived really early " of course ma , this is my first day of work and I really don't want to be queried. "follow me let me show you ,your office" ok ma. " you can call me rose dear " she said with a smile on her face, I just gave her a smile and didn't reply cause I knew that is gonna be really hard for me to address her by just her name . "Is really good that you came early , Mr Damien abhors late coming and you coming late on your first day would have left a really bad name on you. your the fifth PA he's had since this month this is too show you how easily he sacks people, he's really hard to work with but the tip of lasting longer than others is to obey his instructions", Mrs rose was said with a smile and then led me inside my office, thank you ma for your advice I will try my possible best to perform diligently I told her . Hmmm 5 secretary since this month that's a whole lot , seems like Mr Damien really does have a bad temper , I'm kinda scared of messing things up but since I have already gotten here then I going to make things work.

There was a sticky note that showed the password to the computer, so I immediately log in and I must say the former PA really did a good job in rounding up things as there was no left over work . I checked the things that I have to do today and there was not much so I got to work immediately.

"Miss Emerald to my office now " my boss said from the intercom, why does his voice sounds like someone who is greatly annoyed or is that his normal voice I murmur while straightening my cloth and moving to his office.

I knocked on the door and a deep baritone voice asked me to come in. Good morning sir "you were not informed that every morning once I arrive a cup of coffee is meant to be ready and brought to me " I'm so sorry sir I didn't know let me rush and make it for you I said while rushing out of his office. Gosh this man is really terrifying , how the hell does he expects me to be aware of his morning ritual of a coffee been brought to him , he could have just informed me politely but instead he threw the information at my face like I purposely forgot about it . I asked for directions and finally found the coffee maker machine which was beside my office reserved only for him and some special guest , that is what the girl I asked for direction said . I didn't even ask him the type of coffee he takes but judging from his personality it should be a black coffee with no sugar just like him , I rushed in preparing the coffee then brought it to his office .

This time around I pressed the door buzzer at the office then opened the door after he permitted me in .Here is your coffee sir I said while giving it to him ,he just nodded his head and didn't even look at me so I turned and started leaving until I heard his voice "Who made this" he said, umm it was me sir what's wrong with it .I could hear the fear in my voice .
