I dropped to the floor, rolling under the pedestal. The arrows hissed through the air where my head had been a second ago. They hit the wooden shelves with a loud *thwack*, the silver tips glowing with a deadly light. I stayed on the floor, my heart thumping. "Traps. He wasn't lying." I stood up slowly, my eyes scanning the floor and walls. Now that I was looking for them, I could see the tiny wires and the hidden holes in the masonry. Kael had sent me into a death trap.
