The figure emerging from the shadows was none other than the leader of the Timekeepers, a tall, imposing man with piercing blue eyes and a chiseled jawline. He was dressed in a long, black coat with a silver pocket watch chain dangling from his waistcoat pocket.
"Ah, Asher Blackwood and Echo," the man said, his voice dripping with sophistication. "I've been expecting you. My name is Reginald Thornton-Fleming, and I am the mastermind behind the Timekeepers."
Asher's eyes narrowed. "You're the one who's been manipulating the timeline."
Reginald smiled. "Indeed, I am. And with the Clockwork Heart, I will be able to reshape the very fabric of time itself."
Echo's grip on her suit's armrest tightened. "We can't let you do that."
Reginald chuckled. "Oh, but you're too late to stop me. The Clockwork Heart is already activated, and the timeline is beginning to shift."
As he spoke, the clockwork machinery surrounding them began to whir and hum, the gears and pendulums moving in a blur of motion. The air seemed to distort and ripple, as if reality itself was bending and warping.
Asher's eyes locked onto Reginald. "What have you done?"
Reginald smiled. "I've created a new timeline, one in which the Timekeepers are the dominant force. And with the Clockwork Heart, I will be able to maintain control over the timestream."
Echo's suit beeped, detecting a massive energy surge building up inside the Clockwork Heart. "We have to stop him, Asher!"
But as they prepared to launch a final attack, Reginald revealed one last trick up his sleeve...
