“Please don’t leave me behind.” Greco pleaded. He looked pathetic. Shoulder’s slack, slouching, face drawn down in soft lines as though gravity had only now taken effect on him. His voice was weak, faint even. The rifle he hadn’t used had been dropped off somewhere, forgotten. It was hard to look at the man and see the same person who they had run into the only just the day before. He had been running for some time when they had met him, now it looked that even the minimal amount of work had taken everything out of him. The man that stared down Boros while he threatened to kill him in his home. The cold-blooded murderer who had saved both Boros and Clarissa. That man seemed to have died today. In his place was the groveling, weakling that he had become. Or only just now revealed himself
