Angelic Voice

1075 Words
Drake's POV It's past seven o'clock at night but I'm still here at school, creating a dance choreography for our first task. I've been here in the dance hall for almost two hours. We are not prohibited from staying at school even after class hours are over, but if it's just a normal day and there's no event, we can only stay until nine o'clock at night. I felt tired so I stopped and decided to go home. I arranged my stuffs and turned off the dance hall lights before closing the door. As I was walking down the hallway, I heard someone singing from the music room. I got curious so I looked to see who it was. As I approached the music room door, her voice became clearer and I have to admit that she had a beautiful voice. I watched the singer inside the music room through the vision panel of the door. She's using the piano. She's singing "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus. You can hear her voice outside because the door is slightly open, I guess she didn't close it properly. While I was watching her, I was drawn by her because of her angelic voice. I smiled as I watched her. Even though she was wearing eyeglasses, her beauty was still noticeable. I think she noticed my presence so she looked in my direction so I quickly hid before he could see me. "Who's there?" she said. I just decided to leave slowly so she wouldn't hear me. ------------------------------------------ Debi's POV I was waiting for Taiko because she stayed behind at school earlier, she said she just had to do something for their presentation. I left her because she didn't want me there either. I heard the door to her room open, so I immediately left my room and went to her. I opened the door to her room and found her just dropping her bag on the bed. "Why are you coming home so late? Have you eaten dinner yet?" I immediately asked her. "It's not late" she said. "Well it is for a teenager like you" I said. "What is your problem?" she asked. "I was just worried, because you didn't message me what time you were coming home" I said. "Sorry, my phone died" she said. "Okay, just don't do it again" I said then left and went back to my room. ------------------------------------------ Taiko's PoV After she left my room, I lay down on my bed, wondering who heard me earlier while I was singing in the music room. I thought there was no one else at school. I didn't see who it was but I saw the bag when that person tried to hide. ------------------------------------------ Melody's PoV I was humming the song that our group had chosen for the presentation, I was listening to the song with my headphones on. I was walking down the hallway to our classroom when someone bumped into me from behind. The hallway was so wide that they actually bumped into me on purpose. I looked at who did it. Ah, that's why. "Sorry, you're blocking the way" Freya said. You know, I want to respond and confront them, but I keep thinking—it's not worth it to argue with someone as narrow-minded as they are. So I just left and left them there. "Hey, did you just ignore us?" that's Carol's voice. I didn't answer or even look back—go ahead and be annoyed, I don't care. ------------------------------------------ Dylan's PoV We saw what Freya did to her. Who would’ve thought she was the same one Piper argued with during the audition. "That girl is in trouble" Chris said. "No, that girl is trouble" Reed said. "Where could she be getting that kind of courage, being able to confront Piper's group like that to their face?" Drake said. We know the Star Girlz because we’ve been with them for over three years. I know they won’t let that girl off the hook. And I think that's no longer my problem. The bell rang, so we went into our classroom. ------------------------------------------ Taiko's PoV Melody entered the room looking a little annoyed and headed straight to her seat. Which was just behind me, so I asked her already. "What spoiled your morning this time, or should I be asking who?" I asked. "Freya" she casually answered. "Did you have a fight with them again, this early?" I asked her. "I think they were looking for one, but don't worry I didn't give them the satisfaction. I just ignored them" she said. I looked at her amused, she looked proud. We both just giggle. ------------------------------------------ Drake's PoV I looked at the girls in my class one by one, thinking maybe I just didn’t notice her these past few days. Maybe I just didn’t even know she was my classmate. But she’s not here—she’s probably in another class. I’m still thinking about that girl with the angelic voice from last night. Its not that I liked her already. I just feel at ease hearing her singing. I love hearing her angelic voice. "Is there a problem?" Dylan asked me. "No, why?" I said. "I’ve noticed for a while now that you seem to be looking for someone" he said, "You can tell me who is it, and what do you need from that person?" he added. I can't tell him, he will just gonna tease me even if I deny that I don't like the girl, he won't believe me. "It's nothing" I just said. "Are you keeping secrets from your best friend?" he said to make me feel guilty. "Really, Dylan? Don’t start with me, I haven’t been bothering you about your cake girl" I said. "So you’re looking for a girl, who is she? Don’t tell me you like someone here?" Dylan said. Wait, did my tongue slip? Did I say something, or is he just quick to pick up on what I said? "I didn't say anything" I defended myself. "You just did" Dylan said. He draw closer to me and said "Just a reminder, it’s stated in the handbook that trainees are not allowed to have romantic relationships with each other." "I know, don't worry, I assure you that I don't like her that way" I said. And besides I didn't came here to date, I came her to bring my career path back on track.
