Rix's PoV
I was fixing my appearance in the mirror of my room when the doorbell suddenly rang. I hurriedly went downstairs but I was too late. Grandpa already opened the door for them and they greeted grandma, grandpa did the same.
"Your friends are beautiful" Grandpa said.
"Really, they looked okay to me" I said.
"Mr. Miller, your gandson is bullying us" Debi complaint to grandpa.
"Meow, don't bully your friends" I was shocked when grandpa called me that.
"Grandpa!" I said.
"Meow?" the three of them said in unison while looking at me.
"Don't start" I said. The way they looked at me, they are so ready to tease me.
"We gave him that nickname because he looked like a cat" Grandpa said.
"Grandpa" I said. I saw their faces, their holding their laughter.
"I shouldn't have invited you over" I said.
"Too late for that" Debi said while holding her laughter.
"Where's your grandma?" Mel asked.
"She's in the kitchen, cooking" I said.
"Can we see her now?" Taiko asked.
"Yeah" I said.
I assist grandpa, they followed us to the kitchen. We saw grandma still cooking.
"Grandma, they're here" I said.
"Grandma, grandpa, this is Debi, Melody, and Taiko; girls, this is my grandparents" I introduced them to each other.
"It's nice to finally meet the both you" Melody said.
"You can sit down now, this is almost done, and we'll eat soon." Grandma said.
"Is there anything we can help you with?" Mel asked grandma.
"No, no, its fine, you can tour around the house while waiting, if you like" Grandma said.
"Grandma, our house isn't that big" I said.
"Then let them do what they want to do" Grandma said. I looked at grandpa.
"They are your guests, so you should take good care of them." Grandpa said.
"Yeah, you don't know how to take good care of your own guest, didn't have one before, Meow?" Debi said.
"Debi, don't start with me" I said.
I went to the living room and the three of them followed me. We sat at the couch.
"Why didn't you tell us that your nickname is meow?" Taiko asked as soon as she sat down.
"Can we not talk about that?" I said.
"No, come on, I wanna know the story behind it" Debi said. I saw the looked on their faces, they were waiting for me to tell.
"There's no story to tell, grandpa already said it, I looked like a cat, at least in their eyes. But I don't looked like a cat" I said. They went closer to me, scanning my face.
"Hmmm, you do looked like one" Melody said.
"Alright, stop it, let's not talk about it. Let's talk about something else" I said.

Melody's PoV
Suddenly I got a text, so I reached my phone in my bag and see who texted me, it's from Dylan. I read his message.
-Hey, like I promised, I won't skipped a meal from now on- Dylan. He also sent a selfie with his lunch with Drake. I just smile. I was about to reply when Debi took my phone.
"Debi!" I exclaimed.
I tried to snatch my phone back but Taiko and Rix are stopping me to get to Debi
"Let's see who make you smile like that" Debi said, "Hey, like I promised, I won't skipped a meal from now on, from Dylan, from Dylan?" she added.
"What?" Taiko and Rix in unison.
They let their guard down, so I get the chance to get my phone back.
"Since when did you two became friends?" Debi asked.
"We're not" I replied.
"Then what does that mean?" Taiko said. I looked at them, they're waiting for an answer. I saw Taiko's face, she seems like realizing something.
"Wait, are you two dating?" Taiko asked.
"WHAT?!" Debi and Rix exclaimed. They looked at me very seriously, demanding for an answer.
"Not exactly" is all I could manage to say.
I hesitated for a moment before telling them everything that had happened.
"So, you liked him" Taiko said.
"She won't kissed him back if she didn't" Debi said.
"I don't really know if I like him, I just, I'm just happy with him, that's it" I said.
"But you know the rules" Rix reminded me.
"We both know that, that's why we're not actually dating" I said.
"You know what, I'm happy if your happy, but why him?" Debi said.
"It's still risky, you have your dreams in the way, you two should need to be careful" Taiko said. She's right.
"Kids, the lunch is ready, let's eat" We heard Rix's grandpa from the kitchen calling us. Then we headed straight to the dining area.

Dylan's PoV
We're heading to the car, I just had lunch with Drake in his favorite restaurant.
I've been checking my phone for a while because she haven't replied yet. She saw my message but haven't responded. Is she busy?
"You've been on your phone for a while—are you waiting for a call?" Drake asked.
"No, just a reply" I said.
"Whose reply?" Drake asked again.
"Nothing" I said, "If someone saw your message and didn't reply, what does that mean?" I asked.
"Well, that depends on your relationship with them. Its either they're busy or just don't wnat to reply. Besides, you're not a kid, you should have known that stuff" He said, then he went inside the car. I also got inside the car.
"Whose reply are you bothered about?" he asked again.
"I said nothing" I said.
"Then let me just guess, from Melody, right?" he said. I didn't say anything, he'll just going to tease me.
"Just drive" I said.
"Come on, don't be shy, I'm your best friend, you shouldn't be hiding things like this from me" he said.
"I'm not hiding anything" I said.
"You're not just telling, what's the difference? Come on man, tell me" he said. He's not going to stop.
"Why ask if you already know" I said.
"I knew it" he exclaimed.
"But we're not dating, okay. It's strictly prohibited" I said.
"I know, I'm just glad knowing you know how to like someone" what did he just said? I looked at him. He's smiling while hitting the road.
