CHAPTER 7: SOPHIA'S PLAN

Sophia watched Edward and Emily part ways, her mind racing with a plan. She couldn't let Edward slip away, not now that she'd realized her true feelings for him.

She pulled out her phone and texted Rachel. "Hey, we need to talk. Meet me at the park."

Rachel arrived, looking concerned. "What's up, Sophia? You sounded urgent."

Sophia's eyes narrowed. "Edward's moved on. He's with Emily now."

Rachel's expression turned sympathetic. "I know, Sophia. You had your chance and blew it."

Sophia's face twisted in anger. "I don't want to hear it, Rachel. I need your help to get him back."

Rachel hesitated, unsure if she wanted to get involved. "What's your plan, Sophia?"

Sophia's smile turned sinister. "I'll show Edward what he's missing. I'll make him regret choosing Emily over me."

Rachel's eyes widened in alarm. "Sophia, don't do anything crazy. You'll only push him further away."

But Sophia's mind was made up. She would stop at nothing to win Edward back, even if it meant sabotaging his relationship with Emily.

"Here's what we'll do," Sophia began, her voice dripping with determination. "We'll start by spreading rumors about Emily. We'll make Edward doubt her loyalty and trustworthiness."

Rachel looked uneasy. "Sophia, I don't know..."

Sophia cut her off. "Just do it, Rachel. I'll take care of the rest."

Rachel reluctantly agreed, and Sophia set her plan in motion. She started whispering lies about Emily to their classmates, careful to make them sound believable.

As the days went by, Edward began to hear the rumors. At first, he dismissed them as gossip, but as more and more people approached him with "concerns" about Emily's behavior, he started to wonder if there was truth to the rumors.

Sophia watched with satisfaction as Edward's doubts grew. She knew it was only a matter of time before he came crawling back to her.

But as she looked at Edward, she saw the confusion and uncertainty in his eyes. For a moment, she felt a pang of guilt. Was winning him back worth hurting him like this?

No, Sophia pushed the thought aside. She would do whatever it took to get Edward back. Even if it meant destroying Emily's reputation in the process.
