Susan's POV

"It was nice doing business with you, and please like we discussed, don't mention this to my daughter, it's a surprise" Listening a bit for the person on the other end of the line to respond I say "Yes thank you. Have a nice day"

Facing the love of my life I say "Finally!! It's done, my love"

"Yes!" he says lifting me and spinning me around "We finally get to be together forever my love"

This made me smile, I've been dreaming of this day for years now, and at last, it's here.

"When should we travel?" I ask Raph, my boyfriend

"We have the money now, we can leave tomorrow! I'll go back home and pack, you should pack too my love" he replies smiling "But what about your daughter?"

"Amelia? Shell be fine. She gets the best out of this deal, married to a billionaire, what more can she ask for"

"Hmmm" I hear Raph say

"Is anything wrong?"

"Not at all my love... I'll head home now, I'll book our flight tickets and come pick you up tomorrow morning. See you tomorrow"

My husband's ill health allowed me to keep some valuable documents hidden from him and now that he's dead and Amelia is gone, I decided to sell the 2 properties I was able to hide away and now I have more than enough money to last my boyfriend and I for the next 5 years at least and I know before then, Raph would have gotten something doing.

Now I have to call Amelia and pretend like all is well...

After 5 rings I hear "Hello Mummy, how are you doing?"

"I'm fine my dear, how are you doing? It's been 2 weeks since I last called"

"It's fine Mom, I know you've been trying to find ways to get Dad's company back and get me back too, I understand."

"Oh my dear child, I'm so lucky to have you. How's your husband?"

"I rarely see him"

"Keep taking care of yourself, and know that everything that happens is for the best"

"Yes Mummy, I have to go now and help prepare dinner before his fiance comes back. I love you, Mummy"

"I love you too baby" I replied ending the call

That was quite a goodbye I thought after ending the call. Going to complete my packing and rest against tomorrow, I was filled with smiles

The night didn't go as fast as I wanted it to, but finally, it was over and the day was here, eloping with the love of my life. We had a flight for 11 am, by 9 am he came to pick me up and then we headed to the airport so we could check in early to avoid missing our flight to paradise. By past 11 a.m., we were in the air, heading to live our dreams.

Amelia's POV

I'm getting very worried, for the past 3 weeks I've not been able to reach my Mom. I wasn't worried before but the longest we've stayed without talking was 2 weeks and now her number has not been available, I feel something is wrong. I'll speak with Robert and get permission to go home, apparently, one of the things I can't do is leave the house without permission.

After dinner I wait 30 minutes before heading into his study, finding the door slightly ajar I walk in without knocking and I'm stopped on my track by the sight in front of me, Robert eating Juliana like she was a whole meal, I couldn't move. Then he stood up, stroked his c**k and slid it inside her, making Juliana scream and I gasp, he's huge! Then I notice he's staring at me while giving her strokes, I blush in embarrassment and run out of the study

"What is wrong with you Amelia!" I asked my reflection in the mirror when I got to my room, Staring into the mirror the memory of what I saw flashed back in my mind, causing a sensation in between my legs. "Focus Amelia! You need to go check on your Mom" I told my reflection

1 hour later, the housekeeper came to my room

"Young master has asked for you in his study," she said

"Alright, I'll be down shortly"

Walking into the study, I knock and when I don't hear a response I go in

"You asked for me," I say standing in the middle of the study

"I believe you didn't just come to check on me having s*x when you came into my study earlier, so what brought you here then?"

"Oh yes, I need your permission to leave the house tomorrow morning" This made him stop writing and look up at me

"And where will you be going to?" he asked

"I'll be going back home. I'm worried about my Mom, It's been 3 weeks since I last heard from her, so I want to go check on her"

"Hmm... I see. Alright then, the driver will take you home tomorrow"

"Thank you, Robert," I say and turn walking out of the study

"Amelia..." I hear him call me

"Yes?" I reply turning

"Next time, don't walk into my study without knocking first"

"Next time, don't leave the door open when you're about to get busy" I replied causing his brows to go up. Not waiting for another reply, I flee the study

Getting to my former home I noticed the flowers in the front were all dried up, and the walkway was scattered with leaves, this further enhanced my concern, racing up to the front door, I noticed it was locked, thanking God I came with my key, I open the door only to be greeted by dust. Getting very confused I go around the house and it's obvious it has not been inhabited in a while. Leaving and going to my neighbour's house, I'm given a very confusing news

"She travelled?" I ask Pa Joe our neighbor

"Yes Amy" he replied

"Did she tell you where?"

"No she didn't, but maybe you should ask the lawyer, he frequented the house a week before she travelled and you should know she travelled with a young man"

Not waiting to hear more, I dial the lawyer to confirm he's in the office, then I give the driver the address and head there.

The lawyer gives me the same information but he is more shocked as he tells me everything in detail, how she was able to sell 2 properties and change the next of kin documents to my name, now automatically I inherited all the debts my Dad's company accrued.

I left his office more broken than I felt the day my Dad died.

Placing a call, on the 3rd ring the person picks "I need your help"
