28 - Confession The asphalt around the abandoned factory was cracked like a crocodile skin, with bushes erupting here and there. Insects screeched from the clumps of wild grass stems reaching as high as them. Rob remembered the games the band of children had played there in the weekend, when the asphalt was whole and the factory empty. “If you’re looking for a private space around here, you won’t find it,” Rob had said. “However, I know a spot where I played as a kid.” Josh had relented.
