When Alpha Jake had told Dr. Alexis White what had happened to the children in the Emery family, her heart sank. Since she came to Obsidan years ago to help with the rogue pups that had been taken in, she had grown quite fond of the Emerys and the others who lived in the clan and pack. Since then, she had rarely needed to use her skills as a psychiatrist. Most of the time, she was simply a counselor or even just a friend for those who needed to talk something out.
