Tyson’s dragon swooped in to land at the hospital with Ashton on its back. To his surprise, Ashton lept from his back, landing gracefully as the former Dragon Lord shifted as he touched down. Tyson grinned at his son-in-law and chuckled.
“You and Everly have done that a lot, haven’t you?” Tyson asked.
“We have,” Ashton beamed. “I love to fly with Everly. We do it as often as possible and take Darcy out to explore while we collect samples and do studies.” Ashton’s face filled with sadness as he continued, “If we don’t find her soon, this will be the first week since she was born that we haven’t done that as a family.”
“We’ll find her,” Tyson said sternly. “I don’t care what I have to do. I will find the children.”
