The Rules
“Sir ano po ito?”
Binaba niya ang folder na binabasa niya at nakita ko sa mga mata niya ang dilim parang demonyo.
“Are you done reading those rules?” ang husky and manly yung boses.
“ Not yet sir? Can you please elaborate in every rules you indicated here sir?
Masyadong Malabo Sir” mas matalim ulit ang tingin niya sakin nginitian ko na lang siya pero wa epek sarap batukan!
May kinuha siya sa desk niya isang folder at “Rule #1 Don’t enter my Office without any permission” napanganga ako kopya pala yun pero alam ko no duhh I know how to read.
“Don’t enter as long as I said so, got it?” napaka territorial naman po tumango na lang ako.
As if may pagnanasa ako sa office niya.
“Rule #2 Check my schedule everyday with no mistakes.”
Ano daw? Kumunot ang noo ko.
“What does it mean sir? So dapat perfect lahat Sir?” he smirked and said “Ofcourse! Ayaw ko ng tatanga-tanga.”
what?!! “So do you think ganyan ako sir?? Bakit perpekto ka ba sir?It is okay to commit mistakes sir.” oopps sarreyy.
Peace tayo boss napatakip na lang ako ng bibig ang hilig kumunot ng noo e.
“Rule #3 Come before I come”
Ibig sabihin kung nandito siya 6 am nandito ako before 6 am? What??
“Wait! Anong oras ka po ba pumapasok sir?” ang seryoso po ng mukha mo sarap hampasin ng libro hahahjoke.
“on or before 7:30” sagot nito.
“8 kaya ang time in sir” hihirit pa e.
“For them, but as my Secretary COME. BEFORE. I. COME” so dapat pinagdidiinan pa yun?
“Rule #4 Always follow the Boss”
“Ano to boss? Pakilinaw nga” tanong ko.
“Whenever am I, you come.”
“kahit sa CR po sir?” pagkasabi ko yun mas lalong kumunot ang noo nito
“i***t! Commonsense!” ouch nagtatanong lang naman as if gusto ko duhhh!
“Rule #5 don’t go home early instead I said so.”
“Po? PAano ku—” di ko na natapos ang sasabihin ko dahil pinutol na niya agad ito.
“Rule #4 miss Castillo, don’t go home unless I have the permission as long as I said so. Got it?” bakit napaka bosy niya.
“and will you shut your mouth? Kanina ka pa. makinig ka na lang.”
Bigla akong natahimik, I know na masyado akong madaldal but I can’t say no. He is still my boss.
“Rule #6 no visitors allowed. Unless they have an appointment.”
“Rule #7 Don’t let anyone enter to my office without me.” parang sa rule #1 yun a? I murmured.
“Shut up Miss Castillo!” bulyaw niya sa’kin kamag-anak siguro ni Lucifer ‘to.
“Rule #8 No people step into this floor except the boss and the secretary”
“Sir pati po ba si Miss Valdez?” kumunot ang noo niya, nanaman?
“Who is that f*cking Valdez?!” hala galit nagtatanong lang naman ako sir.
“Yung Secreatary po ng mommy niyo?” ngiting sagot ko with puppy eyes para goodvibes pero mas lalong nagdilim ang mga mata nito.
“She’s the secretary of Mr. President and his wife” tugon niya pero ramdam mo parin yung may pagka galit ang boses
“And she’s not Miss anymore, Castillo, She’s married” huh? Hindi naman halata e mukhang dalaga pa naman.
“huh?akala ko sir dalaga pa hindi naman kasi halata.”
“Pumasok k aba dito para makipag-chismis”
Minsan talaga na iirita na ako kay boss ang dami-daming kontra nagtatanong lang naman e.
“Rule #9 No. Boyfriend. Allowed”
Wow dapat dinidiin talaga e? huwag kang mag-alala boss wala siya rito so video call is allowed.
“Sir e yung girlfriend niyo po ang pumunta dito? Allowed?” tinitigan ko ni sir ng matagal then
“If you think that they are my girls maybe you should” ano daw? Di ko gets! Sana di na lang ako nagtanong. Oo or hindi lang ang sagot e.
“Rule #10 Don’t. You. Dare to. Fall.In. Love. With. ME” wow epal ka boss epal!
As if gusto kita.
“may sinasabi ka miss Castillo?” I rolled my eyes “wala po. Malabo naman po kasing magkakagusto po ako sa inyo.”
He smiled like an evil, “Maybe this is not yet the time Miss Castillo” wow! Mahangin pala si boss.
“How can you be so sure that a girl is in love with someone else and dared someone to fall in love with him? As far as I remember if someone is inlove he/she will not get too attached by someone else, Sir”
I heard him smirked with an evil smile “You’re rolling your eyes over me?!” halla galit agad-agad.
“Rule #11 Don’t roll your eyes over me?”
“Boss wala naman dito ‘yan ha?”
“Write on it”. What? Srsly?
“You may go.” wow pinagtatabuyan pa ako.
Tumayo na ako at naglakad na upang lumabas at nagsalita ulit siya,
“Rule #12 Be Attractive. Wear a dress that suits you hindi yung pants at blouse mukha kang manang at don’t break the rules if you break those rules you’re fired.” ano daw?!
Sa inis ko lumabas ako sa pinto ng padabog. Fired daw! Hayssss.
Ang daming alam na rules! Chinecheck ko na ngayon kung ano ang schedule ni Lucifer.
Nang biglang tumunog ang telepono sa gulat ko “ayyy lucifer!” hayss. Siguradong si boss to
“Anong kailangang mo?” dapat kung masungit siya masungit din ang secretary diba?
“What?!” tignan mo galit agad. “Ano po yun sir?”
“My schedule” wala man lang please sir?
Huminga ako ng malalim para kumalma. More patience Zen..
“You have a board meeting at 1pm, at 4pm a meeting of Mr. Lim and last dinner meeting with Mr. Rosales yun lang po sir”
“Cancel all the meetings I have an important appointment for today”,
“But—“,
“Just Cancel!!!” bulyaw niya sa’kin at agad ibinaba ang linya.
Grabe naman pwede naman yung hinay-nihay lang diba?
Be calm. Isa isip na 30 estudyante ang kaharap.
