Last night was the first time I have truly rested in weeks. Lying next to Olive was the best feeling I have ever experienced, and although we weren't able to consummate our relationship, holding her close to me was enough.
She is still sound asleep, and I have taken this opportunity to catch up on some business dealings that I have neglected for the past several months. I have intentionally avoided one business deal in particular, because it involves someone I would rather not see again.
However, I think it's time to face it head on. Instead of risking waking up Olive, I decided I would just return my reply through the email he sent me. He is demanding things I am no longer comfortable doing, and to be honest, I fear for my own life once I let him know I have to back out.
