I hated leaving Sterling in this state, but the quicker I got this done, the quicker I could get back to him. I hope he truly understood the way he says he does, because I was going to need his support.
"I have an ultrasound before I leave. Do you think they would let me wheel you down to the clinic for it?" I asked. He pulled me closer, and told me that, no matter what, he was coming with me.
"Do you think I would miss that? Any chance to get to see our little one, I'm taking it. No doctor, alpha, family, no one will stop me from it," he smiled.
