I wasn't sure how to feel about reliving everything I had endured over those years, but I wasn't going to hold back memories or fight against grandma's powers either. I needed everyone to know, because the alternative was far worse than living through that again.
If grandma hadn't been holding my hands through all of it, I don't think I would have made it through. The biggest thing that helped was her being able to static out the times when Jose and Mitch would take turns raping me. I never wanted my dads, or Freya to know about that. However, now they do, but at least they didn't have to see it.
I sat on my knees for a long time with my head in my grandma's lap. The things she said to me made me feel so much better, but there was still so much shame in my end.
