My mind keeps wandering to what's going on outside, and then to my mate. It makes me wonder if I'm being selfish. Selfish for not helping my new family fight the newborns, and selfish for leaving my mate on her own.
I know what Grace and Sterling both would say, but I can't help but wonder.
I was starting to get restless. Something I don't tend to do unless the need to feed is approaching. Usually I can find comfort in a good book, even if there is chaos all around me, but today I can't focus long enough to get through a full page.
