Watching Sterling and Sammi take their oaths was beautiful. However, enjoying their moment was short-lived. No sooner as they drank from the blood chalice, the vampires swarmed.
Chaos erupted, and even though the vampires weren't attacking anyone, there were still people who were running out of fear. My older cousins were helping the little ones to a safe zone, and I ran to Samantha and begged her to get to a safe shelter.
