It was nice of Damian and Gunner to come with me while I took care of this daunting task. I know I volunteered for it, or should I say, insisted, but it doesn't change the fact that it's not something anyone truly wants to do.
"It's not too late to let someone else do it, son. No one would think any differently about you," Gunner said. I smiled and thanked him for thinking about my well-being.
