It was afternoon. It had been two days since they started to travel. Legosi and Augustus continued on their journey on horse, but Luna switched from being on foot to riding Rigel’s back. When they came across the pass where Amalia’s family had died, they saw no corpses. There was a possibility that any remaining corpse had been ravaged by the demons. When they went by, Legosi saw traces of blood on the barks of the tree surrounding them. His mind went back to when one of them insisted on making him wear the necklace.
