Chapter Eleven The next morning, we did allow ourselves that shared shower, and then I made breakfast — a real breakfast, with eggs and bacon and English muffins. Logan sat at the table with me and devoured it all, which, after our exertions of the evening before, didn’t seem all that odd. A peek outside told me that the storm had finally moved on, leaving in its wake skies of a pure, deep blue untainted by any pollution, and soft, drifting clouds, not organized enough to threaten further precipitation.
