Chapter Four The house was small — there was a reason why we referred to it as “the cottage” — and so it didn’t boast such amenities as en suite bathrooms, or even a spare bathroom. There was the master bedroom, so designated because it had slightly more square footage than the other bedroom, and the spare room, which was where I led Logan. I’d already put my things in the master, and besides, he might have thought it strange for me to give up what I’d already designated as my own space. “It’s not much, but I know the bed is comfortable, because I’ve slept in that one, too,” I told him, flipping the light switch so he could see the place in all its glory.
