Chapter Six He was still there when I awoke, too. For some reason, I’d thought he might slip out in the middle of the night, go back to the bedroom that was supposed to be his, but he was here with me. “Hello,” he said as my eyes opened and took in the half-familiar room, morning light slanting through the wooden blinds, clothes still flung this way and that. “Good morning,” I replied, pushing myself up to a sitting position. My mouth felt gummy. Passing out like that without brushing your teeth is not recommended. But even with that, I couldn’t help experiencing a thrill as I glanced up at Logan, who looked just about as spectacular in the morning as he had the night before. Maybe a little more so, since he had that whole rumpled morning-guy thing going on, and I’d always been a sucker
